What acne symptoms really mean

Causes and symptons are two different things. Acne is a symptom and it does not occur without cause. A symptom is a signal from the body indicating that there is an underlying problem; it´s an expression of the body´s attempt to heal.

The real underlying cause or causes can lie much deeper within the body, and the symptoms should not be suppressed (hidden) using drug treatments which in the short term may control the acne, but usually make it worse in the longer term. At least, that´s what natural logic would indicate.

But today´s medicine is focused on suppressing and hiding away symptoms rather than getting to the root of the problem. The worrying fact about this approach is that disrupting even one cell function can have a negative effect on the entire body. A single prescription drug can disrupt multiple cell functions causing thousands of biochemical changes.

Accutane

Many acne medications contain accutane. Its reported side effects include liver damage, suicidal thoughts, bone degeneration, irritable bowel syndrome, auto immune disorders, and hair loss. Accutane works by changing cell DNA. Does that safe to you? Is Accutane capable of precision targeting only the cells or DNA codes that cause acne? Or can it also affect other non related cells and DNA strands? The later seems true, and risky.

Topical creams suppress symptoms too

Topical acne medications such as retinoid and steroid creams get absorbed through your skin and into your blood stream and have access to virtually any part of your body. A good example of this is a commonly prescribed cream known as Retin A, which has the potential to cause birth defects in the unborn children of pregnant women. The suppression of symptoms usually leads to side effects (take a look at any of the leaflets that accompany your medication), which are frequently suppressed with even more drugs. This leads to a downward spiral of increasing dependence on drugs and worsening health. The good news is that our bodies have an incredible intelligence with which to keep us looking and feeling healthy. When the life force is allowed to flow freely, vibrant health and beauty becomes clear. True natural healing methods supply all the raw materials the body needs, rather than hiding the symptoms away using toxic chemicals. The holistic approach is all about using natural foods and remedies to rebalance the body, naturally making it healthy.
